With Bob's recent passing, a Camarillo Rotary legend is gone. Most of you joined our Club after Bob left, so don't remember what a witty, outgoing, warmhearted and generous man he was. He volunteered for everything, participated in everything, and made even our most average Wednesday meeting a lot more fun. He was totally involved with the Club, as an active member of most committees and our Board, and as Club President in 1980-81.

On a personal note, Bob and Camarillo Plumbing & Paint were an invaluable resource for Sue and me when we first moved here in 1963, even before I joined Rotary. Whatever we needed, whatever our emergency, Bob was there for us, and his loyal friendship never changed since the first day we met him.

If you really want to know what Bob was like, just think about his son Kevin, who has also made Camarillo Rotary so much better since following in his dad's footsteps. "Like father, like son" was never truer, in all the best ways.
