On Saturday, March 24, 2024, students from the Oxnard Union High School District participated in the second Youth Empowerment Summit (YES) at Rancho Campana High School in Camarillo. The event was a joint project of the district and the Rotary Club of Camarillo. Volunteer Rotarians helped students cycle through group workshops on diversity, team building, ethics, and public speaking, followed by an awards dinner and dance.
