AT OUR LAST MEETING

No speaker last week, but we did take care of some club business and enjoyed a Craft Talk from new member (and Camarillo native) Jenny Parkinson. After her talk, she received her Blue Badge.

And speaking of badges, we also saw Gretchen and Jeff receive their President-Elect and Past President badges, respectively..

CLUB NEWS

NEW CLUB COMMITTEE

As mentioned at last week's meeting Max is heading up our new Environmental Committee, whose first project may be a bike repair station on the Calleguas Creek bike path.

FOR YOUR CALENDAR

President Paul encourages us all to attend our September 9th meeting, when District Governor Margarida Eidson will be visiting with eight special guests from South Korea. (Note: This is not governor Eidson's official visit–that will be on 9/23.)

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We are staffing the beer booths at Wings Over Camarillo again this year (Aug. 15-17), and volunteers are needed. Gretchen has sent you an email with all the details, so please refer to that or contact her.
